Rare set of 11 armchairs with straight backs in two-tone lacquered wood and carved with interlacing, shells and acanthus leaves. Belt and feet decorated with rocailles and foliage. Regency style, second half of the 19th century. Circa 1900. Height: 90 cm Width: 55 cm Depth: 48 cm Height under seat: 42 cm These armchairs are all in excellent condition. They were restored for the caning, then dismantled, reassembled, glued back. The original patina was simply preserved and cleaned. Rare set due to the quantity of armchairs gathered and the condition of presentation. Sold individually for €150.
