"Gaston d'Illiers, Bronze Horse"
Gaston d'ILLIERS (1876-1932): Jack the cob horseRare bronze with green patina, old cast from the artist's time, signed on the terrace. We can find this bronze from time to time, but always in posthumous casts, or reissues from the end of the 20th century, this one is a rare period cast, in its beautiful original patina, green in color, typical of the years 1920-1930, for my part, it is only the 2nd time that I find it in cast from the artist and in this very beautiful patina.
