Young shepherd depicted as Euterpe(mytologie) the god of music et poesia. In the elegant painting,the appearance of the beautiful young man, with golden hair, the graceful and melancholic vagueness of his facial expression,the drapery of the garment with the ermine mantle and the flute render the young man a musical Euterpe. But also the laurel that crowns his head serves as a dimostration of pysical and spiritual purity. The painting is from the 18th century in good condition. Antique gilded frame.
