Large Silver-plated Ewer

Large silver plated ewer from the late 19th century. A superb Louis XV style decoration, the body decorated with a cartouche and floral and foliate decoration. The handle in the shape of a chimera. Height at the handle: 40cm Height at the spout: 37cm Body width: 20cm Weight: 2kg 940 Good general condition, shine, no lack of silver plating but I specify a few micro shocks nothing serious. It should be noted that this piece is old and that the condition is more than correct for its age. The rendering is just magnificent, it will make a very beautiful decorative piece and even a sublime vase for large bouquets. I have not seen a goldsmith's hallmark but the metal is of quality and the goldsmith work is sublime.
