Pair of portrait miniatures, probably wife and husband, The lady wearing a black dress with high lace collar, ornament in her black hair, a broach on her corset, the man wearing a black uniform with high red collar, golden epaulettes and a blue sash. Original silvery metal oval frame, Both signed M. Albanesi on the right. Michele Albanesi (Naples 1816-1878) is a well known miniaturist cfr Leo R. Schidlof "La miniature en Europe, Graz 1964".
