Numbered copy on vellum from the Navarre paper mills of Voiron with a print run of 1500 copies, first edition. Albert Camus, born in 1913 in Mondovi, near Bône (now Annaba) in the department of Constantine (since 1962) Dréan in the willaya of El Taref; in Algeria, and died in 1960 in Villeblevin, in the Yonne, is a French writer, philosopher, novelist, playwright, essayist and short story writer. He was also a militant journalist involved in the French Resistance and in the moral struggles of the post-war period.
