Rare small transitional period chest of drawers in cherry wood, amaranth fillets, top inlaid with a bouquet of flowers. It opens with six drawers; its rounded front uprights, with cut sides, end in slightly arched feet. It has a decoration of large amaranth fillets of diamonds in frames. Top inlaid with a small bouquet of flowers. Parisian work (contrary to often false locations) The frame, the assembly of the drawers, with fine oak sides confirm the place of manufacture. There was a fashion for these small pieces of furniture in Paris in the years 1760-1770.
