Stunning French writing desk from the first half of the 1800s, Louis XV style, made of walnut and bois de violette wood. It features a intricately inlaid top with bronze applications at all four corners, a front with three drawers, also intricately inlaid, and adorned with splendid bronze handles. The back is finished like the front, and the sides are also finished and inlaid. It is completed with curved legs and bronze feet.
