Leroussaud Limoges, Large Decorative Porcelain Dish Hand-painted Decoration, Gold Inlay

Exceptional decorative dish in Limoges porcelain. Octagonal in shape, our porcelain is decorated entirely by hand with a splendid bouquet of roses. It is contained in a reserve delimited by a large frieze richly worked and made in double gold inlay and polished with agate. The edge of the tray is enhanced with a gold net. This magnificent work was carried out by the porcelain painter Leroussaud (renowned in his field, he received the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France). He will produce numerous decorations in collaboration with the Ateliers P. Pastaud in Limoges. Our dish bears his signature at the bottom in the decoration. It can also be used as a tray.
