Antique Refectory Table In Solid Walnut. Naples, Early 18th Century.

Refectory table in solid walnut of Neapolitan origin belonging to the early 18th century.

Made entirely of finely worked solid walnut wood, it has a simple and sturdy rectangular top and rests on two richly shaped trestle legs with wavy profiles and curved motifs typical of the style to which it belongs.

The two legs are connected to each other by means of an arched forged iron reinforcement bar added to ensure structural stability.

Origin: Naples early 18th century.
