Magnificent gilded and polychrome wooden candlestick from the 18th century, Louis XIV Regency. Very good condition and very beautiful original gilding for this extremely decorative sculpture object. Note the richness of the sculpted elements in relief and openwork for the crowned coat of arms. Coat of arms of a Provençal or Catalan family. Note no restoration which is rare on a piece from this period. In summary, a magnificent object which in itself is already very beautiful and which can possibly be used as a light fixture while respecting the authenticity of the object.
