Bone Handle Knife - Canada/alaska
A late 19th century steel-bladed knife with a handle fashioned from deer bone. The forged steel blade bears the inscription "Christians, Solingen". It comes with a sheath made of animal skin, probably otter, decorated at the end with cowrie shells and bells, suspended from leather straps. Length: 27 cm; Blade: 13 cm.
