A rare and charming piece of furniture, a Provençal Verriot in walnut of high quality manufacture.
It opens on the front with a glass door in a gendarme hat releasing worked shelves and a low drawer.
It has retained its original bubble glass.
It has a finely molded gendarme hat cornice.
Below the crosspiece is carved with a flowered basket and foliage scrolls.
Under the drawer the low crosspiece is carved with a lyre, acanthus leaves and openwork floral motifs.
The uprights end with small shell feet. The sides are flat or dabs with beautiful walnut panels.
The backs are original.

No attack of wood-eating insects but a preventive treatment was carried out in the workshop.
