Beautiful and rare ink drawing by David OLÈRE depicting the filmmaker and actor Jean KEMM 1874 - 1940. This drawing is titled on the back: Jean Kemm focusing. It was intended for publication in a newspaper, the mention on the back: To be printed on 2 columns, normal frame indicates this without any doubt. During the 1920s and 1930s he worked with French filmmakers and produced movie posters. A rare testimony of his cinematographic era. After the war he devoted himself almost exclusively to the testimony of the Shoah. Signed lower left: D.
