Antique cavalry sabre with scabbardBrass mount, three-pronged guard with serialized main branch, short-tailed cap, wooden handle covered in black waxed calfskin with brass filigree. Straight blade with a hollow side (length 87 cm), spine marked "Manufacture d'armes de Châtellerault July 1883. Light cavalry model 1822 = 1883". Steel scabbard with a bail ring similarly serialized on the guard.Very good condition,
