Busts of Egyptian women in bronze and gray marble Sainte Anne for this empire console, return from Egypt, beautiful flamed mahogany veneer. On the front, base with sheathed pilasters topped with busts of Egyptian women in gilded bronze and antique green patina, the base of the pilaster is dressed with a bronze ring. The plinth base is supported at the front by claw feet in carved wood, lacquered and patinated bronze green, and at the back by a turned baluster. The bottom is dressed with a mirror set between two uprights with flat pilasters. Beautiful ceremonial furniture. Period early 19th century.
