"Late 18th Century Pair Of Neoclassical Terracotta Vases "
Pair of
terracotta vases, made with a stick. The vases have a square base, a globular
body decorated with raw engravings. The handles, of great originality and
characteristic, are decorated with leaves at the base and end at the top with
winged griffins with a protruding breast. Between the two griffins there is a
pine cone cap, purely decorative, since the inside of the vase has been closed.
The patina of the vases is for outdoors, but they can also be placed indoors,
enriching any space with a touch of history and antiquity. Tuscan manufacture
from the neoclassical period, around the end of the 18th century.
