Aftabeh ewer, India, early 19th century. Four-legged bronze ewer with oblique spout. Molded decoration of a drop of water on either side of the body and chiseled on the neck, the base of the body, the spout and the lid with stylized plant motifs. Pear-shaped body extended by a cylindrical neck closed by a lid in the form of a bulb. A snake-shaped handle with a leonine end. Beautiful patina of use. Payment by bank transfer. Shipping extra.
