Chinese four-panel screen in black lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlays decorated with scenes from daily life and nature. Each panel depicts figures against a backdrop of mountains, bamboo, pavilions and bridges. The round-shaped set is bordered and decorated with golden geometric patterns. The reverse of the screen features golden floral patterns on a black background. Presented in used condition, small repaints, one column is missing (see photo).
