He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris and at the Atelier d'Art Sacré Monumental. He exhibited at Beaubourg in 1977, and participated in the Venice Biennale in 1980. In 2003, he left Paris to settle in Toulon, where he lives and works today. His works are presented in numerous cultural institutions throughout Europe. Considered a gestural painter, Henri Yéru creates chiaroscuro effects by energetically handling abundant colored material. Visible at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
