very important butterfly vase Art Nouveau period in Barbotine taken from handles in foliated flowers very very beautiful piece with excellent polychromy signed and numbered under the heel work of the Eichwald factory, in Bohemia Eichwald factory: A ceramic factory was founded around 1822 in Bohemia in Eichwald, in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. This town is currently called Dubi or Duby and is located near Tiéplice in Czechoslovakia... the Bloch brothers bought it in 1869 and began producing two years later luxury decorative objects, statuettes and figurines as well as earthenware and majolica tiles intended to build the typical stoves found in Bavaria and Austria h48 x 29 x 20cm
