Superb antique silk boutis, dating from the 18th century. A rare and precious piece, testifying to the textile refinement of the time. This boutis is scalloped on all four sides.
The fabric features a delicate scattering of small roses on a pale pink and sky blue background, in a silk fabric with a subtle sheen.
A few discreet accidents, barely visible, do not detract from the beauty of the whole.
The reverse, in ecru canvas, shows some halos of use.
