OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS DEPICTING A GENTLEMAN WITH A SWORD (BARTOLOMEO MASERI), ITALIAN PAINTER FROM THE LATE 17TH CENTURY. IT FEATURES A BOOKLET WITH A LETTER DEDICATED TO BARTOLOMEO MASERI, THE ALLEGED CHARACTER REPRESENTED. IN HIS RIGHT HAND HE CARRIES A MEDALLION DEPICTING A YOUNG GIRL. THE PAINTING HAS SEVERAL GAPS AND LIFT-UPS, RESTORATION IS REQUIRED. IT WAS RE-LINED IN THE 19TH CENTURY, ON THE BACK IT HAS A CARTOLL TO BE DECIPHERED.
