"Pair Of Carved Walnut Cherubs, Italy, 17th Century"
Pair of putti carved in solid walnut. This pair of Baroque style cherubs are represented with clasped hands and slightly inclined heads, the lower part of their body ending with a carved floral decoration. The two entirely hand-carved panels have iron hooks on the back, they were probably part of the paneled walls, or decorative sculptures of an old piece of furniture. One bottom formerly glued (last photos) Origin: Italy 17th century. Size: 34 and 33.5 cm
