"Christofle, Pair Of Silver-plated Bronze Cup Stands, 19th Century"
Remarkable pair of cup stands, each depicting a putto holding a cornucopia and resting on a quadripod terrace decorated with friezes of flowers, volutes and two empty cartouches. The cornucopias are surmounted by a hollow, rounded support intended to hold a crystal cup.
Goldsmith's mark (CC + scales, bee, 4 stars), “CHRISTOFLE” mark and serial numbers (1327051 and 1327052) under the base of each support.
Good condition.
19th century.
