solid signet ring in solid silver, made in the 19th century, bearing on an intaglio tray heavily worked initials, and a motto which gives the impression "remenbrance". It is an old French word for souvenir, "thing to preserve". The ring is quite thick, certainly resized a long time ago. The diameter of this one is 18 mm.
