Chest made of painted fir wood with a dark green background, typical of the Alpine tradition. The front is divided into three panels with moulded frames painted in red: two feature stylized floral bouquets, and the central one bears an inscription in old Gothic German, indicating the name of the original owner and the date of construction, December 26, 1809. The structure is solid, with bun feet. The piece retains the authentic appearance of a richly decorated rustic furnishing, traditionally used as a bridal dowry.
