Hallmarked silver ferrule.
Blackened wood spindle carved in a grid pattern.
Pommel with oval orange glass cabochon, openwork silver cap.
Wooden scabbard sheathed in black leather.
Hallmarked silver cap and bolt.
In Scottish Gaelic, the term ‘sgian dubh’ means ‘little knife’. It is one of the attributes of the officers of the Gordon Highlanders.
