Shaking brooch in silver and 750/°°° rose gold apple blossom set with antique cushion-cut diamonds (approx. 0.35 ct the largest) and roses. Eagle's head hallmark. Ca 1870. Arthur Royaux maker's mark Length 9.5 x Width 4.5 cm Total gross weight 38.74 g The case reveals a secret compartment containing: a silver vermeil clip and three gold-plated hairpins. Indeed, this jewel can be worn as a brooch or as a hair ornament, the most beautiful adornment for a wedding.
