Robert Vernet-bonfort (1934-2017) - Millefiori

- Oil on canvas.- Elegant vase signed by the renowned artist Vernet-Bonfort. Born in Marseille in 1934, he began life as a healthy and happy child. Deafened by a childhood illness, Vernet-Bonfort embraced the visual arts in studio and practice as a refuge from the silence of the outside world, allowing for elaborate expression through a vivid and colorful visual language. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Marseille between 1948 and 1957. A frequently exhibited and acclaimed French artist, active since the 1950s, his work demonstrates the intersection of Old and New Master technique with a strong personal sensibility. Upon graduation, he received the Prix Claverie, the first of many subsequent awards.
