Rare and beautiful copy returned to us from Romania, in 12mo format in a beautiful garnet morocco, spine with raised bands decorated in the boxes with fine gilded iron, interior lacework, gilded title, edges gilded with bright gold, marbled endpapers: printed in Paris by Pierre Aubouyn, Bookseller to the King of Spain, to Monseignuer le Dauphin, and to Monseigneur le Duc de Berry. M. DCC. XII. (1712). "The Customs of the Israelites," by Mr. Abbé Fleury, formerly sub-Preceptor to the King of Spain, to Monseigneur le Dauphin, and to Monseigneur le Duc de Berry. Latest edition of this famous work, very complete in its beautiful period binding of a thick red glazed morocco.
