A collection of two rare blue and white saucer dishes.
Late Kangxi (1662- 1722) to Yongzheng period (1722-1735).
One of the dishes finely decorated with a scholar seated underneath a willow tree holding a conch shell, its servant carrying walking towards him carrying books. Set against the backdrop of a natural river landscape scene with flowers and rocky outcroppings, the clouds and moon above them.
The other dish with a fine decoration of a scholar on a boat playing the Guqin, under the watchful eye of its servant and another figure seated across the river.

Diameter 10.6 cm, height 1.9 cm.
Condition:
The scholar under the willow tree dish with a small chip resulting in a small hairline of ca. 5 mm.
The scholar playing the Guqin dish with a hairline of ca. 1.5 cm.
