Sword type "King's Bodyguard", model, type 1814, Restoration. Sword with one quillon, notched plate at the front, olive pommel, decoration of sinuous lines on the quillon and the edges of the plate. The latter in silver metal. Blade with hollow back and side, with gilt engravings on a blued background. Mark "S&C", probably Solingen manufacture. Sword from the beginning of the 19th century. 101.5cm in total approximately, 85cm blade alone approximately. Condition of use, oxidation and signs of use, wear of the tip.
