Pair of Antique Curtains – 19th Century – Beautiful Lyon Silk A superb pair of antique curtains, dating from the 19th century, made from very fine Lyon silk.
The fabric has a light lime green background, delicately enhanced with a refined floral silk weave in soft tones: pale pink, cream and sage green.
A work of subtle elegance and great refinement, typical of Lyon productions of the 19th century.
The lining, once damaged, has been removed.
The silk is in excellent condition, supple, luminous, and very well preserved.
Dimensions: 263 cm (height) x 127 cm (width) each panel
