"Triptych Photo Frame In Chamfered Glass And Gilt Bronze, Late 19th Century "
This type of photo frame is a bit like the quintessence of the French photo frame and it was born at the same time as photography, which, as everyone knows, is also a French invention. Fixed on a gilded bronze structure with a spring-mounted rod, you just have to pull on the upper decoration and the glass is released allowing you to place the photo. The business card-sized chamfered glasses are in very good condition and are separated by a decorative application of palmettes, the dominant decorations consist of ribbon knots accompanied by flowering branches.
Format for photos 7 x 11 cm
