"Painted Porcelain, Gilt Bronze And Cloisonné Enamel Cup – Napoleon III Style"
Elegant decorative bowl in Napoleon III style in finely hand-painted porcelain, depicting a gallant scene inspired by the 18th century with a young woman seated in a bucolic landscape. The reverse is decorated with musical instruments painted in soft tones. The gilt bronze mount has two large openwork handles with a rocaille design, surmounting a finely worked polychrome cloisonné enamel frieze. The flared foot rests on a light marble base cut with cut sides. The whole perfectly illustrates the refined taste and decorative eclecticism of the second half of the 19th century.
