Soho Cadet, circa 1930. English folding camera in brown bakelite with red-brown leather bellows. Meniscus lens with two-speed shutter, manufactured by Soho LTD London England. The 1930s saw the emergence of bakelite folding cameras, but the fragility of this material led manufacturers to switch to metal. These cameras, often very aesthetic, are therefore rare.
