Oil on oak panel depicting a young boy sitting on a step eating his meal from a bowl, with his dog at his side. This painting bears the signature at the bottom right of Lessore for Emile Aubert Lessore (1805 – 1876). It is presented in a wooden and stucco frame gilded with leaf with foliate spandrels and a foliate border decorated with flowers. There are some small losses in the corners and old small restorations. Period painting circa 1850. Dimensions with frame: Height: 54.2 cm – Width: 48.5 cm
