Vintage 19.2 Carat Gold Pendant. This 19.2 carat gold pendant is set with a small porcelain plaque with the image of Saint Theresa and is set with little paste stones.

The inscription on the back reads "Sta Theresa do menino Jesus" = Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus.

Saint Theresa (1515 - 1582) "was a nun and one of only four sisters to be named Doctor of the Church. Her writings on the Journey of the Christian soul to God are considered masterpieces." Many miracles have been attributed to her, including the shower of roses after her death.

Portuguese hallmark for gold.
Tests as 19 carat gold.
Good condition generally but a few dents.
