Rosette-shaped pendant adapted from a brooch richly decorated with Bressans polychrome enamels embellished with sapphires, rubies, emeralds and rose-cut diamonds, mainly made of 750/°° yellow gold (18 KT, owl hallmark). The diamonds, including the crowned rose-cut diamond that adorns the center, are set in silver (swan hallmark). This pendant is a superb piece representative of these jewels exclusively made in Bourg-en-Bresse, during the second half of the 19th century, from the Napoleon III era, whose know-how then obtained an international aura still recognized today.
