Object description :

"Pendant Enamels Bressans Rosace Sapphires Rubies Emeralds Diamonds Rose Cut Gold Silver Nap III"
Rosette-shaped pendant adapted from a brooch richly decorated with Bressans polychrome enamels embellished with sapphires, rubies, emeralds and rose-cut diamonds, mainly made of 750/°° yellow gold (18 KT, owl hallmark). The diamonds, including the crowned rose-cut diamond that adorns the center, are set in silver (swan hallmark). This pendant is a superb piece representative of these jewels exclusively made in Bourg-en-Bresse, during the second half of the 19th century, from the Napoleon III era, whose know-how then obtained an international aura still recognized today. Intended for all social classes, these finely crafted jewels were very appreciated by the wealthiest categories, which was probably the case with this one, since it is set with all the so-called precious stones: diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds. The gold beating of the rosette is finely openwork, like lace. The chromatic richness of these jewels makes them particularly spectacular, and gives them their particular aesthetic to regional jewels, transmitted from generation to generation in families, on the occasion of the major events in the life of each one.Gross weight: 12.40 gCondition: imperceptible micro-scratches, two tiny missing white enamel beads (imperceptible when worn), natural inclusions in the diamonds and colored stones not visible to the naked eye.Presented on a yellow gold palm chain not included sold under the reference ES6249.Note: in half set with its rigid bangle bracelet, our reference ES6322 (Proantic reference ID 1544330)Possibility of payment entirely remotely via the site.
