"Early 19th Century Charles X Center Table With Inlays"
Elegant
circular center table in carved walnut, embellished with inlays in walnut
feather, walnut and fruit woods. The structure has a curved band and a molded
central shaft, which ends with three-legged feral feet with a plinth. The table
stands out for its elegance, enriched by inlay details on the band, on the top
and on the feet, with alternating geometric and plant motifs, creating
compositions of elegant refinement. Particularly on the top, the inlays are of
extreme taste, almost recalling a rosette made of plant interweavings. This
table of great style and refinement is able to furnish any environment with
class and elegance. Lombard manufacture (Northern Italy) from the Charles X
period, early 19th century (ca. 1820).
