Clovis Frédéric Léopold Terraire (born November 14, 1858 in Marseille and died April 2, 1931 in Lyon) was a French painter and musician. Biography Clovis Frédéric Léopold Terraire was the son of Toussaint Frédéric Terraire and Victorine Ladoux[1]. In 1884, he married Marie Albertine Cnudde, a lyric artist; the couple lived in Lyon. He exhibited at the Salon de Lyon and the Salon des artistes français, receiving an honorable mention in 1905, a third-class medal in 1908, and winning the Prix Rosa-Bonheur in 1927[2].
