18th century fireplace plate, dated 1775, with the alliance arms of Louis François Carlet, Marquis de la Rozière (1733-1808) from the Ardennes, field marshal, field marshal general of the army of Brittany, commander of Saint Malo, castle, fort and dependencies of the government of this city and of the Sept-îles, knight of the royal and military order of Saint-Louis, usually residing in his castle called La Rozière, married in 1769 to Marie-Jeanne Locquet de Granville (1750-?) in Grand-Fougeray in Ille-et-Vilaine, daughter of messire Charles Jean Locquet, knight, Marquis de Fougeray, lord of Grandville and other places, and of dame Jeanne Marie Guillemette du Couedic.
