Charming post-impressionist oil on panel of a countryside landscape. In a 19th century blackened wooden frame. Bright and fresh color palette, well varnished. Beautiful mastery by the artist of his brush.
Almost illegible signature in the lower left corner: perhaps Johan Berjonneau (1890-1966)? On the back, an indication tells us: "……. in the plain of Milly 13.6.19". The plain of Milly is located on the outskirts of the commune of Milly-la-forêt, located in the south-east of the Essonne department (91). Dated June 13, 1919 but framed in a 19th century frame.
The panel is in very good condition, the frame itself has 4 missing pieces (see photo).
