Matteo Thun, born in Bolzano (Italy) in 1952, is a renowned architect and designer from the famous Thun family. After studying at the Salzburg Academy and graduating as an architect from the University of Florence in 1975, he founded the Memphis group in Milan. Thun then set up his own studio and was art director for Swatch before founding Matteo Thun & Partners, an international design firm.
