"17th Century Box Frame"
Tuscan box frame, smooth frame followed by a spiral starting from the centers that meets at the corners; smooth brown lacquered band; counter-profile with bobbins separated by three pearls and projecting profile that has a pod starting from the center and inclined obliquely towards the corners. Gouache gilding in pure gold with orange bole preparation.Datable between the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century. Original in all its parts, in perfect state of conservation. Provenance: private collection.
