Landscape animated by two walkers, mountains in the distance.

Black chalk on laid paper, mounted on an 18th century support.

Provenance:
- M.G.T. De Villenave 1762 - 1846.
- His sale December 1, 1842, lot 458, by the Alliance des Arts, Lugt 61 lower left, and Lugt 6b on the back of the mount.
- Senon Collection, his stamp JJS on the back of the mount.

Some light stains, otherwise good condition.

19.5 x 30.8 cm.

The last photo shows a drawing by Van Der Cabel kept at the Albertina in Vienna, inv.1000.
