"Important 17th Century Carved Wooden Panel"

Spectacular gilded oak panel with traces of polychromy deeply carved with curled acanthus leaves forming candle holders, birds, coats of arms (pair of branched birds surmounted by three stars in an escutcheon), horns of plenty. The panel is surmounted by a crown in a shell. It is in used condition, chips and lack of gilding. It has been reinforced at the back (see photos).
