"Empire Period Corozo Snuffbox Representing Emperor Napoleon"
Oblong corozo nut snuffbox. The carved lid depicts Napoleon Bonaparte standing with his arms crossed in front of three flags.
At the top we find the Imperial Eagle, then garlands of flowers and foliage around the edge and on the base.
Dimensions: length 9.5 cm x width 5 cm.
Paris Empire period, datable to the very beginning of the 19th century.
