"Pair Of Three-arm Candelabras In Double-patina Bronze, Empire Or Restoration"
Pair of gilt and patinated bronze candelabras with a female jester figure. This is Empire or Restoration period work. Under the bobeches, you can also see a jester's head. I have never seen a pair of identical candelabres like these. I have done a lot of research on the internet and found thousands of pairs, but not a single pair that looks like this one. They are originally from Sweden, so it is very possible that they were also made in Sweden. (or Russia??) One arm has been broken off but is now temporarily attached by means of a steel pin. One of the candelabres is missing a star. Height: 52 cmWidth: 26 cm
